Contender FAQ's

1. Press the [MODE] button until you get to time mode.

2. Press-and-hold the [LIGHT-SET] button for 2 seconds to enter the time setting screens.

3. Press the [START-LAP (+)] or [STOP (-)] buttons to adjust each value starting with “seconds”.

4. Press the [MODE] button to advance to the next setting value in this order: second, minute, hour, year, month, date, 12/24-hour format, LCD contrast.

5. Repeat steps 3-4 for all time settings.

6. When you are finished press the [LIGHT-SET] button to exit out of time setting.

7. For using time zone 1 (T1) and 2 (T2): To view T1 or T2, press the [VIEW] button. To change the displayed time to T1 or T2, press-and-hold the [VIEW] button.

1. Press the [MODE] button until you get to ALARM mode.

2. Press the [STOP] button to scroll through the sequence: Alarm 1, Alarm 2, Alarm 3, Chime on/off, Key tone on/off.

3. Press the [START-LAP] button to turn the Hourly Chime ON or OFF. When the hourly chime is turned on the chime icon will be displayed on the screen in all modes.

2. Press the [STOP] button to scroll through the sequence: Alarm 1, Alarm 2, Alarm 3, Chime on/off, Key tone on/off.

3. Press the [START-LAP] button to turn the Button beep/keytone ON or OFF.

To reset the watch, press-and-hold the 4 side buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. (Note: performing this action resets all settings and erases all saved data.)
